We are thrilled to announce that La Mare Wine Estate has been awarded three prestigious medals at the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC). Their Branchage Prestige Sparkling Dry Méthode Traditionnelle Fine Cider earned a silver medal, while their Jersey Branchage Cider and 2023 vintage of Bailiwick Red Wine received a bronze medal.
Bailiwick: A Unique Blend
Bailiwick, our distinctive blend of Rondo and Regent grapes finished in French oak, was praised by the IWSC judges for its “soft and playful” profile with bold notes of tart blueberries, peppery cherries, and smoky dark fruits. This accolade is particularly meaningful as it highlights the debut vintage of our talented winemaker, Jordi Sanvicens Moreno.

The Branchage Prestige Sparkling Dry Méthode Traditionnelle Fine Cider, a new addition this year, undergoes a year-long maturation in the bottle, allowing its flavours to develop to perfection.
