Tasting Experience with Premium Upgrade
La Mare’s fully guided Tasting Experiences lead both experts and novices alike through the vines and behind the scenes of their winery where you will learn about the history of the estate and La Mare’s field-to-glass story while enjoying tastings of their red, white and rose wines. The experience includes a visit to the Alembic Charentais Cognac distillery where the estate's artisans use local botanicals and Jersey Royals as a base for an array of spirits and liqueurs including gin, vodka and Jersey Cream Liqueur.
The estate also boasts a working chocolate kitchen and the experience concludes with the opportunity to sample La Mare’s award-winning products including traditional Jersey Black Butter, fudges, biscuits and luxury handmade chocolates.
The premium tasting experience offers a spirit with tonic to enjoy at the end of the tour. Choose one to enjoy from our range of vodka, gins or brandy.
Afternoon Tea
The La Mare Afternoon Tea is served daily between 12pm & 4pm. Made with love using the finest award-winning, homemade produce, your afternoon tea includes four finger sandwiches, a selection of finger cakes, a large homemade scone, Jersey Black Butter, our own delicious strawberry jam and clotted cream and of course a pot of tea of your choice.
Set in the beautiful grounds of La Mare Wine Estate, The Vineyard Cafe is bright and fresh with a large sunny terrace overlooking the lush, green vines and orchards. Spend a summer afternoon relaxing with friends and family in the serene St. Mary countryside.
